My most favorite story concerning Sis was back in 1972 when Donna Horton married Vance Greek. Coach Sis was not happy about this at all. Donna was the leading basketball score maker with somewhere around 40 points. I really understand how she felt because I was not in favor of the marriage. But Sis took it in stride and put on her million dollar smile and kept loving Donna and Vance and the Horton family.
Sis always had an encouraging word for me. I miss her now at the front of the church and I shall miss her until we get to heaven.
Please give Coach Sis the love that Phynetta and I have for her.
