Bonnie Isaacs Gray: "Beautiful eyes, fabulous hair and prowess on the tennis court"

Sis and I were in the same class ('57) both majoring in health, PE and recreation.  The things I remember the most are beautiful eyes, fabulous hair and her prowess on the tennis court.  I was a beginner in those days, and although I took to tennis pretty easily and entered class tournaments,  she and Brownie Alford whipped the socks off everyone.  Oh, how about winning stunts in our junior year?  Somehow I remember Sis as a shrimp boat dancer.  Am I correct?

I last saw Sis at our 45th class reunion in 2002.  What a blast we all had.  I hadn't seen most of my classmates for over 25 years and it was if those years just melted away.  We acted like the goof offs we were back in the 50's except none of us could stay up much past 10:00.

The last time Sis and I corresponded was last year when I was trying to raise money for an orphanage in Honduras.  Sis, I raised the most of anybody thanks to my friends and classmates from TWU.  You also would be interested to know I am going to Honduras in August to work at that orphanage through El Hogar Ministries.

I'm flying to Houston next week on my way to visit with my sister and her family who live near Galveston.  At the end of my stay there, June is picking me up and taking me back to her home for 2 1/2 more days of visiting.  We're even trying to hook up with Jane Perry and Joanie Shrader.  The only thing missing is YOU!  We'll have to laugh extra hard and share wonderful memories, telling stories on you of course, and you certainly will be with us in spirit.

You will be in my prayers and warmest of wishes--and will always have a special place in my heart.

Love and a great big hug!
Bonnie
