I experienced growing up with the best Mom ever. What strikes me most was the versatility of her talents. Dad was so busy farming when we were young, that mom did a lot of those things with us that dad's normally do. How many moms teach you to hunt and fish? But that was not it. She is truly one of the finest jocks, I have ever known. There was not a sport she could not play. She may not have been the best at it, but you could bet she would be very competitive at it.
She and dad were best buddies, and did everything together, showing great commitment to marriage, raising Tam and I. Many wonderful memories occured with her, and the many special teams, and people that intersected her life. Sports were a big part of our lives. Her love and encouragement for myself and everyone involved was infectious.
Her support never wavered, and lately, I wish there was more I could do for her. It is so tough to watch her wind down, and not be so full of ______ and vinegar. You can always tell a lot about a person by their friends. Moms' got so many, that are so special, and cared for so long, it is a real testement to her life. Thank all of you.
Love, Curt
