Jeep Wall Helm: Remembering High School and College with Great Photos!

I knew Sis both in high school and college. I grew up in Orange, and when we decided to have a high school tennis team, I was all for it, even though we only had two courts in town.  Played against Sis when I barely knew how to keep score, and probably didn't even win a point. Turned out we both went to TWU and had the same major for a couple of years. One of our most fun activities was touring with the synchronized swimming club. I think we both did that all four years. I apologize for the poor quality of these pictures. They would be much better nowdays! I wish Sis and I had kept up with each other during those years of bringing up families, and then when we all got back to tennis in the '70s and '80s. I saw Sis last at our 45th class reunion, and I'm awfully glad we had a chance to play a little catch up.

The picture below is from our freshman year, winter of 1954. We all went wild over the snow and sleet. This was out on the golf course on one side of the campus.

This is Sis with our friend, Willie Williamson, who died a few years ago. I don't remember the dress up occasion.

This was some event just before graduation in 1957.

This is Sis and Nan Hubble.

I hope you enjoy these. I've lived in Springfield, MO for the last 43 years, so it's been a little more difficult to keep up with Texas friends. Judging from the email you wrote to Joanie, Sis must have been a pretty good mom! It would be nice to meet you some day.
