Sis, I admired and envied you for all your talents and abilities. You were an accomplished athlete, an excellent leader, and had that beautiful curly hair! I suppose we all remember you as a tennis champion, but you excelled in all sports.
I lived in the co-op so I missed out on the "dorm" fun, but certainly appreciated your contributions to our Class of '57. Didn't we shock 'em with Shrimp Boats: 1st Place! I played accordion in one and danced in Alpine Echoes.
I was a desert rat from El Paso so I was determined to work somewhere near water and with trees so I landed in Port Arthur, on the coast and by the bayous. I now understand Shrimp Boats. We celebrate Mardi Gras in good cajun style.
I am so sorry I missed seeing you a few years ago when we had plans to meet, but someone was coming to pick you up, so plans had to be cancelled. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
